Okay, so talk of Tim Clark being "the resident PGA Tour boozer" got me wondering how much certain pros drink.

I'll post a starting list, if anyone knows how much they drink, or has any drinking stories around them, post it. I'm curious as to number of beverages/week these guys down. Also, any hilarious drunk pics are welcome.

Adam Scott
Tiger Woods
Tim Clark
Jordan Spieth (couldn't help it, even though he's underage)
Rory McIlroy
Rickie Fowler
The Mechanic (we already know the answer to this)
Graeme McDowell
Dustin Johnson
Zach Johnson
Jason Dufner
Bubba Watson (hahaha. Dude NEEDS a drink)

Saw Anthony Kim in Uptown Dallas last fall. He wasn't drunk but I'm sure he had just done a line.

GMAC can drink, and drink, and drink...

Never seen him drunk, but boy can he put it away...and I'm talk'n 'bout motor-oil (Guniess), not the little sports beers (that's what he calls pilsners)

My brother drank with Ernie Els about ten years ago after the Nelson.

Said he was down to earth, friendly, and threw back a. ****load of beer.

I've heard stories about Elk and Norman, too. Aussies live large and drink like fish.

I've always imagined Fuzzy during his waking hours always has a cig in one hand and a cocktail in the other.

Oh; and I forgot about Tommy Armour's (T3) wild parties during the Nelson when he used to live there...and I mean wild!

An average night out? Six.

Honestly when I was going out an average night was typically 10-18 drinks.

A dozen or so for me. I have a buddy that was at coastal carolina when DJ was there, says he gets pretty wild and enjoys doing lines like ron washington.

DJ strikes me as more of a hard liquor guy vs beer. I can see him setting down his Jack and Coke while he snorts a line off of gretzky's daughter's ass.

Guinness has less alcohol than Budweiser.

I watched the Feherty episode with Roger Maltby. and he told the story of his first PGA win.

He gets the check after the tourney and asks his cab driver to take him to the bar. Any bar. Drinks all night with the cabbie and locals. Wakes up the next morning and can't anything including the check. Looked everywhere and it never turned up. That morning he had to call the tournament director (who he knew) and cut him another check and cancel the lost one. He was flat broke at the time and he needed the check to pay bills so he had to get a ride to go get the new check. Couple weeks later he got a phone call from the bar saying they had a check of his they found. The cancelled check is now framed and displayed at the bar.

Steve Elkington has told some drunk stories that include fellow players fighting, getting kicked out of bars, women, etc.

Went to the Ryder Cup at Valhalla in 2008 and the Monday morning after we smoked the Euros I ran into Lee Westwood at the airport bar. Me and about 4 other dudes just sitting at the bar with Lee Westwood shooting the **** at 9am on a Monday morning. He was definitely a cool dude and I called him a pansy for drinking Stella. He said it was too early in the morning for a real beer.

Guinness Stout - 7%
Budweiser - 5%

...and your point adds zero "profit" to the thread "barry"

Guinness Draught is what near everyone refers to as Guinness and it is 4.2%.

Guinness Extra Stout is 5%.

Guinness Draught is the beer I drink if I'm in an area with limited beer selection and needing to stay sober. Can drink that all night long.

A.) look them up; know thy beer

B.) I never mentioned Budweiser in my original thread, thus the follow-up re lack of value, dare I say, "profit"

Not sure what I'm supposed to lookup as I have and I know. Guinness is basically the same ABV as Miller Lite, Bud Light and Coors Light.

Barry was just pointing out that the "motor oil" is basically the same as "little sports beers" in terms of ABV.

Confused what you believe is incorrect. Here is a link showing Guiness at 4.27% and he light beers at 4.2%. Feel free to link to anything contradicting this. Guinness is well known to be low cal and abv, they even use in their advertising.

I know for a fact Adam Scott will drink. I have pictures but won't post online due to outing people, but after the Colonial this year he partied it up in Ft Worth. He was according to the bar tender about 10 shots in when we ran in to him and surprisingly enough he was playing wingman for about 5 PGA pros there who where also wasted

So your link confirms what I said about Guinness Draught. Now I've never seen Extra Stout and from a search it is mainly in Africa and Asia, but if that is what you are talking about (different than just the Stout you mentioned earlier) than OK.

Yea, thanks for ****ting on my thread.

Who gives AF about the ABV. If someone is pounding beer, they are pounding beer. I (as I am sure many of y'all) have gotten completely hosed off of both "sports beers" and Guinness. Why bicker.

Agreed Chipotle, I should have let it go and not fed it.
Come to CO this week and I'll treat you to a round golf...otherwise, when I'm back in TX pick a course in Dallas or Traditions and it's on me...
