Death is coming your way soon

My goodness, man!!
Wishing death on someone isn't what they teach in Waco, is it?
That's definitely a Baylor Bold comment.

I hate both of you. It's an Irish putter for my heritage, hence the headcover!!!!!

Why put gold on an Irish putter? You know green and white works better, right?
Are you a leprechaun?

In one of the more predictable pieces of news we've ever seen, Brandel Chamblee still hates Tiger Woods.

I'm very interested in the equipment change, it will be so weird to see him playing something other than Nike.
I guess a natural fit would be Titleist or Mizuno.

Something akin to Martin Truex painting his car to look similar to a Toyota Camry, and then Toyota using that to help sell a metric **** ton of cars. #FurnitureRowRacingforlife
quote:I'm not affiliated with the golf industry in any way whatsoever (other than as a volume purchaser of inexpensive golf balls due to severe lack of skills) so this is pure conjecture, but I'd suspect Tiger can choose a manufacturer to provide him equipment (as well as pay him handsomely for the opportunity to do so) and they'll pretty much create whatever his little heart desires.

True, I forgot about the rumor, that in the early Nike days, he played Miura irons with Nike logo stamped on them. But will still be interesting to see, if he does go the route of getting very personalized set made for him from a particular manufacturer, if that manufacturer will try to market a "TW" line.

Tiger back in action next week for the first time in over year. I just hope he is fully healthy this time!

Saw video of him at the Stanford game last night - taking pictures with fans!
It really seems like this is a new version of Tiger and I think it'll be interesting to see how it translates to his game. I've thought for a couple years that he needed to transfer to "old man golf" with a more sustainable, joint friendly swing and a focus on fairways and greens.
I guess we will see.

That's just plain stupid. If he feels he can still compete, who are you to say what he should do?tandy miller said:
Seriously, Why doesnt he just retire.

So what's the story on the WD? I'm not a fan at all and don't care if he ever comes back, but am curious to know.
3:25p, 10/10/16
Disc injuries are bich of a thing. Take a 40 year old back, put it through multiple disc injuries and surgeries, and it's hard to imagine putting 5 rounds of golf together.
3:27p, 10/10/16
Apparently he said this isn't health related but his game isn't where it needs to be......so, why enter?
3:28p, 10/10/16
Edit- Given he just committed 3 days ago and also pulled out of a tournament that doesn't take place until November, I do not buy the game condition excuse one bit.

Yep, it makes no sense to blame his game. You don't commit to playing until you know that's not an issue.
1:22p, 10/11/16
Assuming that's true, if there ever was a testament to how much golf can **** you over between the ears, that is it.

Tiger is back in action today so I am bumping the thread.
The stats in this slide show are unreal. GOAT discussion between him and Jack is fine, but I don't think anyone would argue that there's ever been anyone more dominant than Tiger did in his prime.

He just made a great 2nd shot into the #1 green.
Buried lie...in grass...on side of bunker.
On the green 10-12 foot putt for Birdie.
Edit...2 putt for Par.
