Howdy! We're bringing home a puppy next weekend. It has been many years since my wife and I have had a dog and we're looking for a recommendation for a vet in the 281/1604 area. Preferably an Ag, obviously.

Try this. Stop by The Aggie Park, West Avenue and 410 during business hours. Become a dues paying member of the San Antonio A&M Club. They'll give you a directory with no end of Aggie Veterinarians.

We take our dog to Towne North Animal Clinic at Bitters & Hwy 281. Started by an Aggie decades ago but he retired a few years ago.
We have been very happy with the new vet who has provided care for our dog.
She is not an Aggie but still good.

Dr. Mac was great, was sorry to see him retire.
We go here as well, but use Dr. Amy Lewis at the clinic, who is an Ag. I suspect you use Dr. Naranjo, who we have used before to our satisfaction.SW AG80 said:

Dr. Naranjo is leaving Towne North. This leaves just one vet at this clinic. So we may be looking for a new Dr. for our dog.

Looking for a new Vet as Towne North has only one Vet now and she is difficult to get an appointment with.
