I am in the process of moving to the greater San Antonio area and I am looking for a reputable hourly fee-based financial advisor. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know of any with an hourly fee base for their compensation. We use Tim Montfort as do several other Aggies in the San Antonio area. Tim has been in the business for 15+ years I believe.

Hmm sorry to hear that. We are friends. I'll
Pass the feedback along. We have been happy with them.

Who was this in regards to? Tim or someone else?bjorn said:
Just pulled my money out from him. Was very un responsive and seemed to not really care. He merged to a new company recently and his new staff is less than accommodating to my wife and I. Would NOT recommend, using PAX financial now

This is a bad thread.
If you don't read closely, the negative feedback above SOUNDS like it's referencing Tim Monfort, but it's not, it's referencing someone named in a post that was deleted.
Tim is a good Ag. But in my particular case, his numbers didn't stack up, and we regretfully decided to go elsewhere. One data point only.
Interview anyone you decide to go with in detail, and include Tim as an option - that's my recommendation.
edit - to save you time, don't call Tim unless you have at least $1M to move.
