How does one become an advisor to these movies? I coulda fixed their uniform issues for a measly $100K.

Is there some law or regulation that movies and TV can't show a current uniform? Seems like I have read something along those lines, and some shows have weird, intentionally odd uniforms.

In this case, looks like they weee going for intentionally bad.

I didn't know enough to know the ribbon rack was upside down, but I did notice it's at a 45 degree angle

The Amy Grant song "Grown up Christmas List" included a line about wishing that "wars would never start", so maybe an inept military is their route to that.
