I know almost nothing about operating an aircraft but spent a good part of my career operating very sophisticated, expensive, & complex machinery so watching the takeoff routines was fun.

I was surprised to see the copilot flying without her helmet on.
Also the need to wear glasses to fly, I thought pilots all had gotten vision surgery.
