Torchy's tacos in Houston. On the left is the "Mr. Pink", an ahi tuna taco and on the right is the "Double-wide", a chicken fried steak, bacon, green-chile queso, queso fresco, pico de gallo taco. Very healthy!

And then we have fried chicken at Barbecue Inn in Houston with a side of their cream gravy (which is actually closer to a cream sauce than a gravy, but I love it dearly)

Torchy's has the Ace of Spades today!

8" Flour tortilla stuffed with a jalapeño sausage link and smoked brisket topped with a fried egg, shredded cheese, green chili queso, cilantro, queso fresco, sour cream, and diablo hot sauce.
Can not wait to go this afternoon!

Went to Fearing's about a month ago and had the Buffalo with Jalapeño grits and it was exceptionally good.

Where is BRC in Houston? I will be through there in a few weeks and that sandwich looks like it is worth stopping for.

It's on Shepherd, south of Washington.

It's one of my favorite casual spots in Houston. They have a good wine and beer list too.

Serious Pizza in Dallas (Deep Ellum) - pizzas are huge and toppings very fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend if you find yourself in Dallas.

It's the easy crockpot version
. I use approx 2lb pork tenderloin (shoulder/whatever you want) and put it in a crockpot with a bottle of this http://www.cookwell.net/Products/Two-Step/Cookwll---Company-Two-Step-Green-Chile-Stew-Mix.aspx That's it. Tenderloin is fine here because it will not dry out and you will shread it anyway.

When you get home from work you shread it and boom (no extra seasoning required)! It's dam$ tasty stuff and will easily feed 4-6 people. We will be on night 3 tonight with just 2 of us. **Seen above includes blanco corn tortillas, jack cheese, avacado, onion)**

I got it at the Central Market in Dallas, so I assume you could do the same in Ft. Worth. The company is out of Austin and makes a lot of quality stuff...at least everything I have tried.
