Their nanner pudding is awesome. It's missing from the spread!

Oh that got hit too! I took one home for my wife. I got the eggnog rice pudding this trip, I couldn't pass up on trying that one.

Today I had the pleasure of finally hitting Interstellar with a group of seasoned vets who also were going for their first time. It was spectacular and deserving of its #2 ranking in my opinion (they felt the same). The brisket was incredible, great bark and didn't shy away from the salt which I love, great render on the fat. The sausage was excellent, especially the frito pie and jalapeño popper sausage. The famed pork belly was good, I was a few items deep and it was extremely rich, so I took it easy here. Turkey was very good, I really enjoyed it with the green sauce and chimichurri mixed together on a tortilla. The sides were all extremely well done and thought out. The highlights for me were the smoked scalloped potatoes, the jalapeño slaw, and the chorizo cheese grits.
Already planning the next trip.

Anyone have an idea of when the Burnt Bean usually sells out on a typical Friday? Thanks

I bet they start running out of stuff about 1:30, but since we're getting close to holiday time I bet its closer to 12:30 because people will be buying stuff to go. I'd be in line by 10:30 and you'll be eating within 45 minutes and have an open shot at everything they have.

Thanks. I was hoping they would have product later in the day. I guess they really don't do dinner, then?

I was actually there this past Friday. Got there a little before 1:00. Sausage was already sold out. By the time we finished eating everything was sold out.

Seguins food options are meh at best as far as dinner.
I'd go to El Ranchito for dinner or I'd venture out a few miles and go to Clear Springs for some fried fish or Freiheit Store on the outskirts of New Braunfels for a good burger and fun hang out spot.

Out of all that Mexican joints, I would not pick El ranchito

El Ranchito used to be fantastic but has gone downhill. I'd definitely hit Clear Springs. Or Blake's in McQueeney.

Will share more on it in the next few days. It's the first prototype backyard offset of what we hope to be offering in the near future along with some other cookers.

It looks very intriguing. Would love the details and (now that we know this may be a new product offering instead of a one off) I'd love to know what price range you're looking at for it.
