My son and I are "camping" with a group of 13 eight-year-olds and 13 dads through Adventure Guides. We do s'mores the first night, and for the last 2 trips I fried Oreos the second night. They're a fun party trick, but I don't want them to become boring.

Do y'all have anything good and fun to fry? Or maybe just something totally different to do over a campfire? I don't want anything that requires a bunch of prep. I'm taking a 17" cast iron skillet, but have room for other things if I need to.

Baked apples- core an apple, fill void with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon. Wrap in foil, place in coals.

You can also do some version of dump cake if you've got a Dutch oven.

Not a fried dessert but if you swap the chocolate bar for a Reese's Cup it makes for a far superior s'more.

Andes Mints are an excellent choice as well.
