There's an issue with embedding youtube videos that seems to come up more and more lately for people. It would be helpful if this could be updated to work with these. Perhaps stripping the ? and everything after it when the URL is one of the youtube domains.
For the URL, if there are any parameters in the URI, the embedded feature on texags fails. I'm not sure why this is happening more lately, perhaps we're just seeing more links with GET parameters, or maybe people are just asking about it more.
