Good for Logan!

Justin Ruggiano could join Michael Wacha for Aggies playing in the post season. He was recently acquired from the Mariners by the Dodgers and is off to a 5 for 8 start with 2 home runs, 4 runs, and 6 RBIs.

Ruggiano is playing well still! Pennington is also seeing regular playing time for Toronto with Tulo out. Could have three Aggies in the postseason.
Alex Wilson has had a fine year and Logan Kensing is still with Seattle.

2012 was a very productive year for Aggie baseball.

Also neat that Logan Kensing earned a bullpen spot mainly because fellow Aggie Alex Wilson is out on the DL to start the season.

Blake Allemand is starting the season with the Brevard County Manatees (Melbourne, FL), the Advanced-A affiliate of the Brewers. When drafted last year, he was assigned to their Rookie team in Montana where he spent a few weeks before being promoted to their A team in Wisconsin where he finished out the season.

I guess Kensing, Ruggiano, and Pennington are three current major leaguers who played for Mark Johnson at Aggieland. Wow! They have played for a long time.

Troy stein just move April 18 from the Modesto Nuts to the Hartford Yard Goats. These names.... That's about as big a distance eastward as one could move on the lower 48.

Pro baseball may be "Living the Dream" but it is still a tough gig.

Honestly, people tend to think of trades as someone "not being wanted" but they can be very good for the player. If he's blocked by current/future players then by all means trade him to someone that needs him.
2:32p, 5/10/16
You work your way up for 3 weeks, hit over .300 and blogs start using you as trade bait because of the next sure thing under you. Can't feel good. Sure sometimes they can be for your benefit. Robbie Grossman is a local Houston kid who got came to the Astros as part of the Wandy trade. It worked out good for him because there was an opportunity to play MLB ball.
