I'm certainly not opposed to giving him a shotPhatMack19 said:The Marksman said:Schloss tried Targac on Friday and Bard yesterday and neither worked, He's just trying to find a hot bat there for DH. Hope somebody gets it going.maxag42 said:
Again, why is Blake in the lineup? I like the kid but he hasn't had a hit in a long long while.
What about Kaufer?

I love how their fans boo and cry when we have mound visits as if their hitting coach doesn't stall the game for several minutes at a timeaggiewilliford said:

Have to imagine the staff is as frustrated as we are with DH and maybe just said, "if he closes his eyes, swings, and happens to make contact who is mostly likely to hit a fly ball that could drift out of this bandbox?"
Voila. BB is in the lineup. Hope Bell gets a chance soon. He's at least got better plate discipline it seems.

I went to the kitchen to start the stew for tonight and we had a clean half. Guess I'll stay here for a while.

I do worry about the back end of our bullpen with Aschenbeck used up.
Then again, we burned through theirs too, and Cags SHOULD be on his way out soon.

You find a way to make stew prep last at least 2 more hours trouble. Take one for the team!

This. Just not our weekend. Our starter's balls haven't had any life which has been unusual.

That's part of it, but not the whole picture. Prager's stuff didn't have the movement in normally does. Jones' fastball looked flat. Lamkin is struggling with location. These are better hitters than we've faced which will obviously have an effect on pitching outcomes, but the actual pitches don't look dialed in this weekend. Just my opinion tho.

Prager was nowhere close to normal. Tanner . . honestly that's about how he's been so far this year just against weaker sticks. Lamkin isn't doing terrible, not as far off normal as RP wasKillzone3abc said:

Correct. Doesn't Schloss say if you see at least 8 pitches, it's a success, no matter the outcome? That 9 pitch flyout was good.jkag89 said:Not all outs are made equal.Aggies2009 said:
