I assumed I missed this game yesterday….I came here to scroll through the PBP. I have a lot of baseball in my life right now with two boys on three teams and trying to catch every Aggie game possible! Man, I love this time of year!

Lamar beat Prarie View last night 13-3. Lamar has won 10 straight and is now 16-4 on the season.

Anyone else concerned about the weather for tomorrow's game? Rain and thunderstorms predicted all day tomorrow here in CS. Wonder if we see our game tomorrow get pushed back a day or two to be a double-header.

It's scattered thunderstorms in the forecast. I'm not worried.

At least it will be white and green. If it was white and orange the servers may have melted down.

Depends on how many fair weather fans pop up today.

Not sure if the extra bag would have helped here

I clearly need more coffee because it took me way too long to even realize what you meant.

Absolutely here for the double bag. I do wish it would be a bit more consistent as opposed to a one-off, but you have to start somewhere.

I'm with Brauny on this. I'm a traditionalist and don't like the pace of play changes as implemented, but there is literally no reason at all not to use the safety bag. Collisions are not super common but they are nearly entirely avoidable. More common is the judgement call on a player running down the line, which this helps tremendously.

Having said all that, whatever number you set I will definitely take the over. There will no doubt be wailing and gnashing of teeth aplenty.

I understand the logic of this, but on a dropped 3rd strike that pulls the first baseman to the orange bag it says the runner "would" use the white bag. Is the runner obligated to figure out where the throw is pulling the first baseman? And what if it's a little dribbler in front of the plate that the catcher fields instead of a dropped strike and his throw to first is on the orange base side?

Was this game original scheduled for a 4:00 start or was it moved for some reason?

Moved up because the Mississippi State series is Thursday-Saturday. 4 was apparently the earliest they would go as they played a game yesterday.

I'm alright with it from a safety perspective... I remember Hunter Coleman breaking his arm on a collision at first base. I just wish it wasn't so darn ugly.

Did we have a runner called out recently for not running in the right path? I feel like yes... but I could be misremembering.
