I think tonight will be really telling for us as to the future of Tanner Jones. I know the staff thinks highly of him but he's been anything but consistent and crisp yet this year. Hoping that's just recovery and rust from the injury. He's needs to go at least 4 quality innings tonight. Can't have a 40 pitch first where he walks 2 or 3. That quality RHP in the rotation that we can feel good about would be very nice.

In all seriousness, I hope Jones finds a rhythm and establishes himself as a weekend starter for the Aggies, but if he can't, Cortez sure has looked really good this season.
