Should be another great weekend of SEC Baseball with A&M vs. Bama & Tenn vs. Kentucky both playing.

I'll take the Vols with the upset in 2/3 and the Aggies taking 2/3 from Bama.

Man. I'd run like I stole something if we go 2-1 at Bama. I'd be cool with a competitive 1-2 as there's coaching opportunity there.

Granted they just took 2 of 3 from Arky, but still.

Or is 6-9 the result of their schedule being very front loaded?

Teams at home are tough to get sweeps from... and they just proved that they are for real taking 2/3 from Arkie this past weekend. They are ranked as high as 12 in some polls if I remember seeing correctly- essentially like playing a super regional on the road.

They have series wins over South Carolina, Tennessee, and Arkie this year... all at their house. They are good at home for sure. They were swept AT kentucky and georgia. I'd prefer this series at our house given all that info. We would be the first top 25 team to win a series AT bama.

Bama at home: series wins over #1 Arky, #5 Tenn, and #10 SC.

Bama on the road: swept by UGA and UK

You know you're program is in a good place when fans are complaining about a road series win against a ranked opponent

Bama is a good team and was a tough match up for us.

It will be fun to watch how the conference standings shake out down the stretch. Tennessee is a dangerous team and I think they actually take the East. We have a two horse race with Arkansas which I assume will come down to the final series.
