Not sure if enough people saw it and its been going on for awhile, but is anybody as fired up as me watching Trav wreak havoc on the bases.

Against Traleton, bunt single and the pitcher had to put it in his pocket, not even close at first.

Then he goes first to third on a single up the middle and rounds 2nd base basically when the centerfielder had the ball but he still beats the throw.

Then he swipes third catching them snoozing on the throw back to the pitcher. Love it.

And I think I'm missing one more.

Good stuff. I remember watching Chad Allen steal so many bases of off sleeping pitchers and catchers. Pennington was very adept at this as well.

Well he ran like a 6.16 60 which is almost world class speed so he's definitely a weapon.

Pretty remarkable with his short legs. He must have crazy hip flexibility

I watched him sign an autograph for a kid Saturday. He signed it..."T Nutty!"

Chestnut is one of my favs. Glad he's finally getting a chance. He can create so much havoc on the base paths. Pitchers and fielders have no choice but to pay him a lot of attention…. which is so good for the top half of our batting order.

2 summers ago he was electric for the Bombers summer team in Bryan….. in the field, at the plate and on the bases. As I recall, the team did well the first half of the season, then he left for the Cape Cod summer league and the Bombers went downhill pretty quickly.

When I first read the thread title, I thought this was about a personal issue. I was afraid to open the thread.

This answers the question I came here to ask which is, "ummm..., is he okay with you calling him that?"

Last year, he let the team tip him upside down before almost every game.

Sounds like something to chant when he comes to the plate.
