The Latest: 2015 Destrehan (La.) ATH Kirk Merritt

Last season Merritt proved capable of making big plays after gaining 530 yards and 8 TDs on only 22 receptions. College coaches have taken notice of his potential at both running back and as a receiver. While he gained 7-5A first team all-district honors out wide, he also had several rushing TDs and figures to play a larger role in the backfield next season while continuing to get reps at receiver.
