Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin on Monday night admitted disappointment in sophomore quarterback Kenny Hill and acknowledged his suspension would be a factor in the competition for the starting job.
The 19-year-old Hill, who is competing with freshman Kyle Allen and senior Matt Joeckel for the starting role, was suspended indefinitely following an arrest for public intoxication early last Friday.
The Aggies are in their final week of spring practices.
