I was there in the front row upper deck over the first base dugout. Still my greatest sports-related memory from A&M. Glad to hear John and Terry are doing well.

I was at a sports bar in Austin watching the game with a fellow Ag who had started law school at tu wondering if his allegiances had shifted any. Your typical arrogant sips were present and starting taunting us after the game shifted their way. The ending was so sweet. I had to restrain law school friend from fighting one of the sips in the parking lot afterwards no longer doubting which side he was on.

Went to high school with Byington ( a year behind me) and Andy Duke and Mike Easley. All Baytown boys. This was, by far, my favorite sports memory. I too, was out on the tracks in right field for the series. I think we may have been enjoying a few adult beverages.
