An old football axiom proclaims: “Jimmies and Joes beat X’s and O’s.”

The message is simple. Players are more important to success than coaches are.
Every coach wants great talent with which to work. Texas A&M appears to have lost a talented Joe while waiting for the X’s and O’s.
