Aggie Football Top 100: Countdown begins May 4
By Olin Buchanan
April 27, 2015
From the Dixie Classic to Junction to Tuscaloosa in 2012 and from the Haskell Hurricane to the Blitz Brothers to Johnny Football, Texas A&M has produced more than a few enduring football legends.
In more than a century of college football A&M has featured two Heisman Trophy recipients, several national award winners and dozens of All-Americans.
But who were the best?
That question can be argued by generations for generations. So, TexAgs assembled a special committee of former A&M players, Aggie historians, media members and an extremely successful former coach to compile the list of Texas A&M's 100 greatest football players.
The Top 100 will be revealed 10 per day over a two-week period beginning May 4.
