This was a game in which the Aggie defensive front really set the tone. The front four was disruptive throughout the contest, spearheading an effort that produced a ridiculous 16 tackles behind the Nevada line of scrimmage.

The D-line accounted for 10 of those TFLs. Again, that's 16 stops behind the line on 74 Wolf Pack snaps, an extremely high percentage when talking about drive-killing plays turned in by your front seven (all but one of the 16 TFLs were turned in by a D-lineman or linebacker).

It goes without saying that Aggie defenders were literally living in the Nevada backfield and that A&M's defensive linemen absolutely throttled Wolf Pack blockers for four quarters.
