Aggies respond to Music City Bowl loss, ponder what's next

On a night when Texas A&M fell in disappointing fashion to finish 8-5 after a promising start to the season (sound familiar?), Kevin Sumlin's program was left to face a litany of questions. Following Wednesday's 27-21 loss, the Aggies attempted to begin answering them.

There are no satisfactory answers for why our "team" (and I use that term loosely) has become a dumpster fire. I don't like the direction this program is headed. Tonight was an exclamation point on the whole season. Just pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Do you really expect us to believe this load of horsecrap? Tired of Coaches buddies on the staff being shielded from accountability.
McKinney has been on the staff 4 years and we have one RB who can break a tackle, and he just played his last game.

I really appreciate Tra and what he has done this season for the horrible situation he was in. But he is a between the tackles runner.
Why ever send him out to run around the end. He just is not that kind of running back.

Hell of a ball game Sumlin? You got out coached and your ass whooped in pretty much every facet of the entire game. But yeah you're right it was a hell of a game for Louisville.

Sumlin you are one sorry son of a "B" man.
You road in on Johnny Football and have escaped for your last time.
Your crap offensive OC and you can take your Swagger crap and rap music and fancy gimmicks elsewhere.
Uh...uh.....yea....uh I'm still getting $5 mil for crap results.
Hey just like the crap results Obama has given the U.S. In the past 7 years

Is it just me or does anybody else think that Spav was throwing the game? I mean, on a 4th and one you give the ball to your running back who is 8 (eight - look at the play) yards away from the line of scrimmage - from shotgun no less?
What's up with putting Tra in lateral motion from an I-back? What?

Is this the first game you've watched this season?
He sucks as a play caller. Simple as that.

The team is an extension of the coaching staff. Sumlin never seems to have them ready. Because of the tremendous support the 12th man gives, our players know that win or lose everybody loves them. There are never consequences for their actions. An offensive lineman can get 3 false starts and a personal foul and he still plays. We need a strong disciplined coach with ties to A&M , who knows our culture and traditions. I like Sumlin but it looks like life after JFF has exposed him.

Actually, that first statement isn't true. Sumlin does a good job most of the time getting the team ready for a bowl game.

We have several RBs on the roster that will be available next year, but were not this year.

We have a very serious problem with identifying, recruiting, and coaching up RB talent. It cost us dearly last night.
Since McKinney has been here the three RB's that have been the main contributors were Trey Williams, Brandon Williams, and Tra Carson.
McKinney inherited Trey.
Brandon and Tra are two of my favorite players but let's be honest, they called us to come here for different reasons, we didn't recruit them. They called us.
As long as we continue to rely on transfers who can't get on the field elsewhere we are going to be hurting. Meanwhile guys like Samaje Perrine, Chris Warren and others from our own backyard go elsewhere.
James White has regressed significantly.
If you believe McKinney will coach up the guys who were hurt and the guy who couldn't get on the field at Oklahoma, you sir are the idiot.

Sumlin recruited Trey to A&M, who was uncommited the year we fired Sherman. He was told he would be utilized like Ray Rice (lolerskates). Other than that, yes we have serious issues at RB. We're getting a guy back from injury next year so we'll see how that goes.

It is on film that Trey Williams was in our locker room celebrating with the team after Sherman beat Nebraska. Sumlin might have collected the signature but Sherman identified and recruited Trey Williams.

He wasn't committed. We were hoping to pull in him or John Gray and Sumlin sealed the deal.

Jake Coker said tonight after the win that this bama team is special because they all play selflessly.
He said no one cares if they get the ball or more snaps. They just all want to win. No entitled 5* on that roster.
Buh bye Kyler. Buh bye Kyle.
Buh bye speedy.
Moving on.
