On starting for the first time...

"The coaches had talked to me before the game. They just told me to calm down and do what I do. I really didn't feel any pressure. I just wanted to go out there and help my team win."

On when he found out he was starting...

"Yesterday, coach told us — well, he didn't really tell us. We wear maroon and white (in practice), and I was in maroon. Everybody was like, 'Hey, you're starting tomorrow!'"
