Amazing. I have never seen anyone like Jimbo. His mind moves at a hypersonic speed. This is a guy I would want to play football for.

Calipari, the mens basketball coach at Kentucky, is sorta like this.

I enjoy his relationship with the press and his football talk

It's pretty obvious to me that this guy has a much deeper understanding of the game than several recent previous hc's.

Having coached under guys that won National Championships (Saban, Miles and Bobby Bowden), as well as one that went undefeated at Auburn (Terry Bowden) will do that.

And 3 of those coached in the SEC.

He didn't studder through his statements like Sumlin. I can't wait to see how it goes tomorrow.

The phrase "vocal minority" comes to mind. Considering that there are 10K plus on texags at any given time, it's much more reasonable to think that......

When Sumlin was winning, those that liked his sarcastic tone spoke up while those that never liked it from the beginning kept their mouths closed the first couple of seasons. Then when he started losing, those that never liked it starting speaking up and those that did shut up.

I'm sure some flip flopped based on if he won, but most probably had the pre-determined thought towards it from the beginning. I was never a huge fan but put up with it while he was winning. Got old quick.

Bashing a former head coach is a tradition around here. People loved Sumlins whole bit till he couldn't win enough.
