2025 Katy Paetow CB Deyjhon Pettaway commits to Texas A&M

The Katy Paetow pipeline continues on the recruiting trail for Texas A&M as ultra-talented 2025 cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway‍ has announced his verbal commitment to Mike Elko and the Aggies.

A legit 4.3 runner, Pettaway has become one of the premier prep corners in the country due to his elite athletic skill set, and he started pulling in major offers shortly after his freshman year of high school.

The younger brother of A&M linebacker Daymion Sanford, Pettaway chooses the Maroon & White over offers from LSU, Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon, Ole Miss and several others.

He's also A&M's third commit in the 2025 class.

On tape, the 6-foot, 180-pounder showcases that aforementioned elite speed. He originally thought he was going to be a Division I track athlete before seeing his stock skyrocket on the football field. Pettaway has a similar build and frame to A&M corner Tyreek Chappell. While he'll likely still grab an inch or two in height, his mobility is what makes him such an intriguing cover prospect.

You can view some of Pettaway’s sophomore tape below.

Stay tuned. We'll have more soon for our TexAgs Premium subscribers as the Aggies nab one of the top overall players in greater Houston.
