The Aggies have gone into the Sunshine State and plucked one of the top pass rushers in America to add to their 2024 high school haul as Tampa Carrollwood Day standout Solomon Williams‍ has announced his intentions to continue his football career in College Station.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pounder becomes A&M's 16th pledge of this cycle and chooses the Maroon & White over Alabama, Oregon, Texas and many others.

It's pretty easy to see why this kid was so highly regarded when you turn on the tape.

Williams flashes elite get-off and quickness. He's violent at the point of contact — both when engaging blockers and also ballcarriers. His combination of speed to power is next level, and he also possesses an advanced arsenal of pass rush moves for a high school senior.

This kid has a lot of the same traits as former A&M pass rusher Tyree Johnson, who flourished under Mike Elko not so long ago.
