On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as Mike Elko added another transfer addition and men's and women's basketball are navigating SEC play.


Football
Texas A&M added former Fresno State TE Tre Watson via the transfer portal.

An All-Mountain West honorable mention honoree in 2023, Watson will reunite with former teammate Jaylen Henderson in Aggieland.

Basketball
Powered by its backcourt of Wade Taylor IV and Boots Radford with 59 points, Texas A&M pulled off a stunning upset of No. 6 Kentucky as the Aggies notched their first win over John Calipari since 2018.

Texas A&M will head on the road to Arkansas with a Tuesday 8 p.m. tip.

Women’s basketball
Texas A&M women's basketball remains unbeaten at home this season following a 71-56 victory over the Tennessee Lady Volunteers on Sunday. Aicha Coulibaly's 19 points paced a trio of Aggies to reach double figures, as Sahara Jones and Endyia Rogers each contributed 15.

Top-ranked South Carolina awaits the Aggies as they will have a 4 p.m. tip on Sunday against the Gamecocks.

Track & Field
The Texas A&M track & field program opened the state-of-the-art R.A. "Murray" Fasken '38 Indoor Track & Field Stadium in dazzling fashion, winning six events and setting seven Aggie All-Time Top-12 performer marks Saturday.

Texas A&M returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 20 to host the Ted Nelson Invitational.
