Texas A&M 47, Sam Houston State 28: Defense in Review

By Billy Liucci
November 19, 2012

Starters solid as usual; backups, on other hand...

What went right: The Bearkats’ first-half offensive output was atrocious. The A&M defense limited the Aggies' Brazos Valley guests to just 67 yards on 33 snaps. SHSU came up empty on its first nine possessions, punting seven times and turning the ball over twice.

After allowing 61 yards on 17 plays on two drives to open the game, the Aggies limited Sam Houston to just 42 yards and two first downs on 26 snaps.
