Former A&M cornerback and safety Steven Terrell and former cornerback C.J. Jones joined Gabe Bock in-studio on Friday and received quite a surprise with an overhead studio light exploded. Check it out here.

Haha! Guys, you have no idea how scary it is when this happens. And now you can ask Steve and C.J. if they would back me up on this. It's right there with being behind lottery ticket guy at the convenience store as my least favorite thing in the world.

Lat...haha! I'm shocked those guys didn't drop an F-Bomb or something when it happened. I'm used to it.

As often as those lights are exploding on y'all, y'all seriously ought to reconsider and plot out the power draw and amperage on each individual light and the sockets they're coming out of, and possibly hardwire a circuit breaker rated at either right at, or just a couple amps below max draw. Something in your wiring's causing massive power spikes, blowing those things out when they hit critical mass. Light bulbs just don't blow up, mang... well, unless one of you is practicing black magic. *cough*gabe*cough*

You should make the transition to LED. There are some very good flat panel film lights on the market now.
