If a student enrolls and completes year one on Blinn Team, how difficult is it to get accepted into either Mays Business School or the A&M nursing program.

Mays is extremely difficult. Most students have a GPA of 3.8 or higher. Nursing is not as competitive as it was pre-covid, but you cannot transfer directly into nursing. You will need to pursue another major first and then apply as BSN admit.

Thanks double b. At what stage could you apply for BSN admission?

The student would need to complete 59 credit hours at a minimum to be considered. Several years ago they posted their admission GPA on their website along with their selectivity rate. At one point, those numbers were around a 3.75 average GPA and an admittance rate of about 20%. As I mentioned before, those numbers have soften post-Covid.

As for Mays, good luck. I've successfully helped students before but each of them had 3.9 GPAs.

TEAM is a good option for Nursing. You can apply directly from TEAM to Nursling. Just need the pre-reqs completed.

With TEAM it is really nice as you can focus specifically on the pre-reqs. In another major you will have to take major specific courses. If you get TEAM and are looking for Nursing. Stay in TEAM get what you need for Nursing, don't pay for classes you won't need in the long run and also save some money by having classes taken at Blinn vs TAMU.

Also for Business, it looks like TEAM still has the Pathway agreement. If I recall, if you meet the requirements, you get in, that is a good deal.

Also make sure you reach out to Nursing/TAP for more information.

Where can you find information about the Blinn Team in general?
Does Texas have something similar? Literally asking for a friend on this one.
