Saw my credit card was charged a few days after they received everything in the mail so that parts done. Should I expect at least 6 months minimum before my cans are free?

14 months for me, got them end of last year. No idea if things have improved but after the shutdown the wait time doubled from my understanding. (Dealer said they were running 6 months when I purchased EOY before the shutdown)

Due to the volume of cans that have been purchased the last few months It is only going to get worse. I have only in jail also.

My check was cashed last August and I know I've still got a while longer to wait. Sucks.

I've never understood how they can deposit the funds months to years before they actually do something.
Doesn't that see illegal?

It's because it's a form of gun control. How many more suppressors would you own if you could get one as easy as a handgun or even ammo? I know I would have more. The whole process and wait is a pain in the ass and a lot of people just don't want to deal with it.

Yep. Put $200 in 1934 into an inflation calculator and you'll see how much NFA '34 was designed to keep poor people from owning short barreled guns and suppressors. Even worse, handguns were on the original list of things to require a tax stamp for.
Like all other gun control, it was classist and racist.

I had check cashed July and got stamps in March. Even crazier I bought a couple more in December those got pulled forward and approved at the same time in March.... so like 3 months on those!

Purchased 4/18/19, check cashed 5/10/19 delivered to dealer 5/06/19. Crickets on this one.
Did hear from ATF yesterday about a can purchased 5/16/19they were unhappy with the wording on the amendments, so we had them rewritten

It varies.
Not sure if atf approval guys and gals are working from home.
To save yourself some heartache and hand wringing. Figure you'll get your can next April.

I have one from last April that is still in jail.
I checked the Capitol Armory website and it looks like they are receiving stamps from Feb '19 - Dec '19. Hopefully this means that mine is at worst a couple months out but I doubt I'm that lucky.

I shouldn't complain. Efile form 1 is taking 30 days.
Sbr 30days
Can 200+ days.
Doesn't make sense

A few more days and I will have waited longer for my barrel to ship than I did to get my Form 1 efile approval.

I can see a possible incentive to fast approvals for cans if the ATF is working from home. It would encourage more people to buy them (with a sagging economy this may jeopardize their jobs) and it could lead to further WFH once this situation clears. However, we are dealing with government workers so that may be too much to ask.

I thought I read somewhere that sales had surged on them similar to the gun sales ? That could make the future backlog be longer.
