Been seeing him since High school, he can be a little cheesy sometimes, but way less than the avg act that comes through CS. Whether you like his type of music or not you will love his live show.

From Austin, so I've been listening to Bob for years. I like his music, but the dude is in love with himself.
Good show for College Station, though.

I just know people that have gotten to know him over the years. He's definitely living the rock and roll dream.

He was into Sandy when she was in her prime. But man, have you seen her lately? Mid 40's struggling to look 29. Rough.

Wasnt talking about what you said about Bob

Bob played schotzis after K-state a few years ago and it was an awesome show... but he wouldn't play ass knockers

Ha, I make no bones about about CS. Parents and 1 brother live there. That's about all I have to say about that.

Probably because you don't know the actual name of the song! I wouldn't play it either if someone was yelling the wrong name.

Love me some Bob. Just went to a show here in Dallas with a String Quartet.
Wish I could be there.

Dated a musician for awhile, got to hang out backstage at Bob's Valentine's show awhile back. Cool dude, got hammered, and then laid.

I wasn't yelling anything so I guess it didn't really matter if I knew the name of a song

Love Bob! Used to go to his shows on Northgate back when I was in school -- luckily he has expanded his fan base quite a bit and now I get to see him a couple times a year up here in Portland.

Glad to see all of the Bob love. Bob is my fav musician. I heard him on ESPN the other night during the UT/TCU game singing Getting Better Now.
And to mpAggie, there's no doubt Bob has had a tough time balancing success and lifestyle, but he's come along way and seems to me to be incredibly appreciative and humble. Anybody that appreciates Bob will appreciate this write up, it's a tad creepy at times, but good overall and gives a good sense of who Bob is.

edit: apparently Almond realized how good of an article that was. This is only an excerpt of a book that he's made recently and the full article has been removed.

Still a fan, don't get me wrong. All of the stories that I've heard from Austin friends painted him to be a guy who thought he was above most everyone else and thus treated them like it. Girl in my HS dated him a few years after graduation. All old stories though, as I am not the young buck I used to be back when I first heard him, so I'll say that I don't know much of him as of late, and I'll take your word on it.

I went to a show with multiple decent Austin bands and the MC actually said "here's your chance to enjoy some Austin music WITHOUT Bob Schneider". lol

his dad is the church choir for a church i went to back in the day. he sings a mean alleluia - no kidding. every now and then they let him do a little unplugged - not bad for an old man (older than me that is). i never asked him about sandra though. i saw rob, bob, whatever his name is at antone's about a hundred times.
