1. Beats Notre Dame
2. Beats ranked opponent on the road
3. No stupid losses to less talented team
All three must happen

Who on our schedule will be ranked when we play them?
UF in Sept.? No.
MSU or USCe in Oct.? No.
Aub in Nov.? Doubt it.
Now, #3 could happen in Gainesville, but even so we could then run the table.
Go study for finals.
So, you're not rooting for us this year?Aggie Class of 2026 said:

None of us on this board believe that you, a poster on an A&M football message board, plan to not watch any game this year until those three things happen. Literally nobody believes that.

I understand where OP is coming from but the video was pretty good. It's not a hype video by any stretch but it does acknowledge some real potential up sides for the team.

At your assumed age, you are way to uptight to be an Aggie football fan. You should stop now and save yourself year of possible grief!

Brief recap:
1. Elko has managed expectations (told Staples that TAMU talent isn't what they think it is)
2. More defensive talent than when Jimbo got here
3. Preseason SEC players (Shemar Turner, Taurean York, Nic Scourton)
4. Players with best chance of being drafted (Turner, Scourton)
5. Big losses in WR room ( E Stew & A Smith)
6. Need consistency from Moose, health from Noah, and to win we need outstanding production from WR room (I.e bama, LSU, etc.)
7. Have a good stable of running backs that could well compliment Klein's offense
8. Floor 6-6, ceiling 10-2
I thought it was realistic for the most part and not heavy sunshine pumping.we have the pieces to compete but they have to deliver.

I never said that. To the poster below you, I never said that either.
I'll be watching every game and possibly traveling out of state to watch some road games.
I won't be getting my hopes up early. I'm not interested in articles pumping up Aggie football. I will quickly turn to watching games on TV and TV ONLY if I see the same old tired failures.

Contrary to popular belief the biggest negative from last season is losing EStew. Yes, he definitely was packaged with some negatives, but if coached and focused kid will be a star receiver. Would have loved for a chance to see what he could do if he acquiesced to Elko's discipline and cultural. I know that's an if, but the talent level warrants the chance.

This was a great recap. We have a favorable home/away schedule with our toughest games at home and less difficult SEC games on the road. All 4 road games at Florida, Mississippi State South Carolina, Auburn appear winnable, and I hope we win at least 2 of them. Hopefully, we can beat Notre Dame in Week 1 and snap a 10-game road losing streak with a win at Florida.
