Speaking of... The Bulls had a player-only meeting after the first game of the season.

James Harden is on the No-Fly list.

Filthy block by Isaac. Would be great if he could get healthy. He's only played 45 games since the 2019 season.

The In-Season tournament seems to be a success. Rockets had a November game that I cared about last night which is what the NBA was trying to achieve.

It will also give us 3rd games between EC and WC opponents as Memphis, Detroit, Spurs and Bulls play interconference games. Spurs - Memphis and Bulls- Detroit would be 5th matchups of sorry intradivisional teams.

Spurs adds another game against the Bulls (and Minnesota).
Rockets adds two WC opponents (OKC and Denver).
Dallas adds two WC opponents (Utah and Portland).
Memphis adds Detroit (and Minnesota)
N Orleans made the tournament

Gave the Spurs one more game for Wemby to get ridiculous stats in a blowout loss, too. It's the NBA version of Tungsten Arm ODoyle.

Jokic with the perfect triple double last night.
11-11 FG
1-1 3PT
3-3 FT
26 points
14 rebounds
10 assists
All of that in just 30 minutes

and this

Overall, it was the 116th regular-season triple-double of Jokic's career, and that ranks fourth in NBA history and 22 behind Magic Johnson for third place. Russell Westbrook tops the list with 198, and Oscar Robertson has 181.

If he keeps this up, he might make the HOF someday.

Jokic is shooting 39/44 in last 4 games. He's missed 5 shots out of 44. That's 89% from field.

Plus he's 32 of 33 from FT line in last 7 games.

uh yeah, so the Thunder beat the Trail Blazers 139-77 tonight. a 62-point margin of victory.

OKC scored more points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined (39 + 43 = 82) than Portland scored for the entire game, and outscored them 82-32 in those two quarters.

36-24 after 1 quarter
75-39 at halftime
118-56 after three quarters
139-77 at the end.

Portland was 28 for 101 (27.7% from the floor

Back in November, OKC beat Portland 134-91.

Thursday was tied for the 5th largest margin of victory in NBA history

Last night seemed to produce a lot of blowouts, but it did produce one shocker.

The Cavs game in Paris against the Nets wasn't close.
The rested Bucks blew out Celtics who were on 2nd night of B2B OT game.
The already mentioned ass-kicking that OKC administered.

And while the Suns-Lakers game lacked suspense....who saw this unexpected twist coming?

Reportedly, it was actually Devin Booker
