My sweet dad is in hospice and will likely pass soon. I live in a College Station therefore I'm not familiar with funeral homes in SA. Does anyone have referrals of good companies to work with?

I know it is not a funeral home per se, but we had my dad cremated and used Heart of Texas crematory and appreciated their kind and efficient service. They also procured the death certificate(s) for us, which is I guess normal but still took the guesswork out of it for us.

Every funeral I've been to here has been at a Porter Loring location. Worked with them myself for a family member, and they made things very easy.

I believe Porter Loring would be your best choice.

Porter Loring has been around forever and is highly respected in San Antonio.
