Good for him. He deserves it.

I hope our Texas Aggies kick the crap out of his Kentucky teams year in and year out... forever!!!

McCasland or Tang to Baylor?

Since this is a parody account and Drew hasn't actually accepted the job yet, is it too late to start the 'Buzz to Baylor' speculation?. Just like we did 'Buzz to Arkansas?' And 'Buzz to Kentucky?'

I hope he attains the same level of success that Billy the snake achieved and is running from reporters while pretending to talk on his cell phone in season 2.

Dude has won big for years and still gets no respect.

And I'm OK with it.

Kentucky basketball fans demonstrate once again that they are among the most arrogant fanbases in the world.

Recruits NBA talent.
Wins in a tough league.
20+ years living in Waco, TX.
Built the program from literally nothing.
Great hire on paper.

I think Jamie Dixon would have also been a great hire.

And yes, Kentucky basketball fan = Bammer football fan.

Baylor basketball fan = Baylor football fan.

Tough choice. I'll just hate all of them.

That's a weird tweet to talk about the wife like that

His wife just needs to drink a beer when she hangs out with people. Hard to do at Baylor.

If Drew leaves, I'll be interested in what becomes of Baylor basketball. Have they jumped to a level where success is likely to be sustained, or is their success Drew-dependent? I don't follow the program, so I have no idea.

I'd imagine something similar to what Tech has seen with Beard's departure. Still a solid team, but not a national contender.

I think it is entirely dependent on who they hire to replace Drew. Baylor has enjoyed a sustained level of success under Drew so it isn't like they are coming from out of the blue.
People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.

Unpopular opinion on TexAgs (not necessarily the bball board, just TexAgs in general), but I'm glad he's staying. It's cool that he rebuilt their program from the ashes, actually turned into a really good coach along the way, and has turned down "better" jobs to stay there 20 years

Good move for Drew. Apparently his wife likes the semi-private life they have in Waco, they would NOT have that in Lexington. Those fans are insane.

I'm right there with you.

I like when coaches of "lesser" programs turn down jobs from the "big boys".

it keeps the good teams spread out more and those coaches usually stay successful and have long careers at their school.

then that school becomes known as a "power" school in the sport.

Mark Few at Gonzaga is a great example of this.

The only thing I don't like about it is just the idea that the coach at Baylor could be like "you know what, I'm good" to Kentucky. I know Baylor crossed the bridge years ago and now is, very simply, one of the best programs in college basketball but part of my brain just doesn't want to accept it.
