In my 53 years as an Aggie whoever the new coach is will be #10.
That works out to an average of just under 6 years per coaching tenure.
Fisher was right on schedule to be terminated for unacceptable performance.
So now what?
What will be the fallout across the board?
And just our of interest is Elijah Robinson not likely to be "seriously" considered?
At this point in time I think it would be a sensible move.
Campbell ain't coming
Elko ain't coming
Most of the coaches mentioned probably are not coming.
So let's go w/ what we know at home.

"Why would Franchione leave Bama??"

"Jimbo will never come here!"

You have no idea who will and who won't come here, but I'll promise you there are coaches lining up behind the scenes right now., and we WILL get one of the coaches on our list.

They dont pull the rip cord unless they know there is a parachute in the back pack. Sucks, I really enjoyed listening to Jimbo but I'm sure it will br under control.

Aggies will be Aggies. I learned early in life that 3 out of 4 Aggie graduates lose their common sense. When my Aggie engineering daughter surprised the family that she wanted to go to A&M, I made her promise me that she wouldn't lose her common sense. Thank God at 31 years old and mother of two, she hasn't! Common sense tells you, until you let a coach finish his contract, you don't know what might eventually happen. You might be surprised!

Just a few Aggie jokes the family has been telling this evening?

Ross hired a consulting firm to determine if the Aggies can fire a coach before hiring them for the new contract/salary model for Aggie football coaches.

What do you call the Aggie football coach? Deadman walking

Any coach in their right mind wouldn't take the Aggie HC job, and any man that takes the job is just a thief.

How long is a 10-year contract in Aggieland? Six years

At least our family knows good football and coaching when we see it. We still have the Mighty Refugio Bobcats to watch in the playoffs. (and TW who think they are good)

What a completely moronic rant.

Listening to this, it sounds like there is/was concern about a large number of players hitting the portal.

You can't lose the same way over and over and keep the players. Or your job, evidently.
