I think I'm gonna put some e5's in the bag for this weekend. Might as well give em a shot. I've been liking the Nike rzn lately, but the state of my game is in transformation right now so I'm not hugely being particular..

Told a buddy of mine about ineedtheball. He's gonna order some. Those balls have a sweet logo. I might order a dozen just for the hell of it, and keep em as a novelty.

My experience has been pretty much the opposite.I always thought pro v1's scuffed easily. Although, I haven't used pro v1's in a few years..

The new one is completely different than 2012 and prior, in terms of durability, imo.

Ive been playing the Z-Stars that Ive picked up from lost golf ball's warehouse, but based on this thread and their site, I think Im going to try the XV's next to the Z-stars Ive been using.

Im not quite good enough to take advantage of spin differences around the greens yet, but where I notice a difference is in putting. When Im putting with a Z-Star it feels like a softer more fluid experience, versus when Im trying to roll a Pinnacle which feels like a rock.

I picked up about 10 dozen Z Stars when they were on closeout at academy last year. They have always been extremely durable and lasted longer than i could keep them. Until I got new G25s last week. Now I seem to chew through them fairly quickly.

was gifted a dozen the ball by ineedtheball a few weeks ago and really, really like them. One went 28 holes without much damage until I chunked it into the forest; held up well after finding the cart path a few times, feels pretty soft off the putter and was responsive around the greens.

Update: Started playing th e5's because of this thread and couldn't be happier. For me, every bit the performance I was getting out of the ProV's for half the price. I'm sold.

Anyone play the rife ball yet?
