I just learned how to compress my irons and have been hitting them better than ever. I have an old Adams a7os hybrid 3 iron. I just don't feel comfortable with it. I tend to hit big hooks with it. The hybrid has a big head. I would rather have a more iron looking one. Any suggestions for a non draw bias hybrid?

Dr. Ralph , just find one that you like the looks of , right loft,shaft,etc. Then remember , you need to compress the ball slightly also with the hybids. When you do that you will get distance and the spin you want coming into greens.

Line it up towards the front of your stance and try to trap it a bit. If you are hooking it, probably too far forward in your stance or you are swinging too much across.

I have the same problem with my hybrid and from what I understand hybrids are made to hit a DRAW. I read this in Golf magazine this month.

What I worked on when hitting my hybrid is having the feeling of your right elbow being below the left going through impact.

SLOW down when you are using the hybrid.

Hold it off, meaning hold the logo of your glove towards your target as long as possible.

Aim right

If you just wanna buy new toys, Taylormade has some new utility clubs that looks like irons. Mizuno still makes some as well I believe. The Adams Pro hybrids have very small heads for a hybrid.

Ping's hybrids look a lot like irons at address. May be my next purchase as I suck with my Adams 3H too.

i almost gave my g25 23 degree away on friday. It is sitting in my truck i refuse to hit it for a long time at the moment.

I overswing on my hybrid the same as I would if I carried a 3 iron.

Hit it like an iron if you're not doing it already.

If that doesn't work, try a more neutral hybrid.

I have a Titlest 585H, replaced it with a Mizuno MP-650. Both are almost impossible to hook, I've pushed them left now and then but never hit a hook with either.

You can't find many of the Mizunos new right now, but I would bet the new Titleist offerings offer the same performance as their old lines.

So I just ordered this.. I love the way it looks. I know, I probably should have tried it first..
