The relays had some crazy times! Humble Summer Creek has a girl run a 53 and a 54 and another a 2:09 400… there 4x400 time soon will be insane! Jelani Watkins LSU football signee ran a 10.22 100! Baylor signee ran a 13.55 in the high hurdles, while Georgia signee ran a 13.73 and a 36.9 in the 110/300 hurdles and long jumped 24'7!! The relays were crazy!

Madison Peters runs a super fast 10:35 and Staucie Lees runs a 10:41 to place 3rd! Tulsa signee comes in 2nd! Penelope Gracey after injured in the fall runs a 10:54 to place 8th

Tulsa has Koonts as well as Sarah Morefield. Pretty stout, but the Ags are killing it.

I'll be up in Fort Worth this weekend watching my daughter run her first outdoor 800 for Tulsa.

Also, those time above are amazing for early March.

In reply to 94chem Yes by Tiffany Mugubi of Humble Summer Creek! Her best was a 2:16 last school year at the Victor Lopez Classic but she only ran a 2:22 at regionals! She did run a 2:13 in the summer and ran a 54.7 INDOORS earlier this year! Apparently signed to Howard University… I'm sure she'll hear some offers and reevaluate that decision if she keeps dropping ridiculous times

Thanks. My daughter was the third best runner at Regionals, with a 2:14 to win district, but ran 2:25 and finished 9th. That regional meet plays with your head. She finished freshman indoor with a 2:16, so should be headed for a good outdoor.

BtW, Mugubi is from Shadow Creek, not Summer Creek. They don't even care about XC at Shadow Creek.

Mugubi has a 5K PR of 22:18. My PR (at age 50) is 21:51. She is a pure track athlete.

In reply to 94chem My bad! I got the Creeks messed up lol! Summer Creek is loaded so I assumed she was from there! But yeah those track times are crazy, she's purely a 400/800 star, keep her away from cross country

and a 2:16 indoors for a freshman is actually really really good! She's in for a great spring if she's already in that shape! I wish her well!

I went to high school and am good friends with Faith's grand uncle. I had no idea Faith was so talented.

In reply to Scar Tissue She's an amazing runner and amazing student as well! Her best right now is a 53.15 in the 400 and hopefully sub 53 at state! I wish she was an Aggie but going out of state and a degree from Vanderbilt won her over! The valley's best!

In reply to Sweep4-2 Elizabeth Leachman is a once in a lifetime gifted athlete! She is so ahead of the curve and as a sophomore she has so many national records to her name! This past weekend she went 2:08 in the 800, 4:37 in the mile, and 10:00 in the 3200! And she's still 16! At the Texas Relays she ran in the 5,000 invitational against college runners and won by 35 seconds and broke the meet record! I don't know how much she can keep improving but I just hope she stays healthy!! She's going to be a star in this sport if she isn't already! She's gonna put on a show at state! Sub 10 in the 3200

Aggie signees San Juanita Leal, Staucie Lees, and Madison Peters will all be competing in the 3200 at the state meet! With Leal and Lees also competing in the 1600, and Leal tripling up to do the 800 as well! Yierra Flemings qualified in the 100 hurdles, the 400, the long jump, and the triple jump! She won't be contesting the 300 hurdles which she ranked first in the state in!!

Aggie football signee Ernest Campbell will run the 2A 100, 4x100, and do the long jump, Aggie football and track commit Marcus Garcia will throw in the 5A discus! He's a junior with a 183'2 PR!

I am a parent at Kingwood, and I don't even know why Nita Koom-Dadzie didn't run this season. I don't think her teammates did either.

I wonder if NIL is going to start shutting these kids down in HS.
