It's always seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I've never been invited to dinner with the Kerry's, so I can't comment on the food. I'm sure the servants rustle up a nice feed, though.

Waffle House puts Taco C to shame in the "drunk food" category. Wafle House is an institution, nay one of the founding tennents of all that is good and right with these United States. From the Waffle House emenates the sense of oneness that flows between all Americans and urges us to wake up each day and do our part for the betterment of all mankind.

Waffle House, my friends, is that little part of home in each of us that tells us that no matter how far we roam across the mountains and the plains, mom's kitchen is just around the corner under a big yellow sign.

I don't think I have passed a waffle house that hasn't had at least a light or two out of their sign.

And, I've never been. The Waffle House in my hometown is full of cracked out losers and scary old men.

That's one of the things that makes it great. The people watching there is WAY more fun that at Taco C.

I have a license plate border that says,
"Follow me to the Waffle House."

Let's not overlook my personal favorite, the red-headed stepchild of Waffle House, the Huddle House of South Carolina. Cheese omelet and hashbrowns all the way please.

There's a Huddle House next to the Tank N Tummy in my grandparent's hometown in TN.

Texas needs more Waffle Houses.

Huddle House was the kind of place where you could go get food after the "Pimps and Ho's" party and not be looked upon with any undue level of intrigue.

We ate there last night for the first time & I had the cheese eggs with grits, bacon & raisin toast. It was pretty good but they ONLY take cash! That wasn't a problem for me but it could have been since I usually don't have much cash on me. They were clean & friendly & hey it's the waffle house, not a fancy steakhouse so who cares? It's a good deal.

Love the food and the smart a$$ waitresses, but I can't deal with all of the smoke. It is always smoky in there.

Never been to one. If you are a concealed handgun carrier in TX or any other state, you are not welcome at Waffle House. They are very anti-self defense, and make it very public. Any business that sacrifices my safety for an image doesn't deserve my business. Of course, the whole point of carrying concealed is the fact that no one knows you have it What they can't see won't hurt them. Flame away :P
