Nothing beats the plethora of Waffle Houses in Atlanta....often times you can exit a highway and turn EITHER direction and and there will be a Waffle House waiting right there for your enjoyment.

Not just "drunk food", but great hangover food. A pecan waffle, side order of greasy ham with hashbrowns, and lots of coffee and o.j. will fix you up.

One of "THOSE" cousins has worked on and off for Waffle House for over a decade. I'm told she is a wizard at working the griddle, but apparently the only thing she is really good at is making babies with random guys.

My opinion on Waffle House is that "smothered and covered" shouldn't involve ashes from the short order cook's cig.

One of life's great treasures. When I lived in West Texas without Waffle House, it felt like a part of me was emptybecause it was. I got super annoyed at people saying, "Yeah, but we have Huddle House!" which is the equivalent of someone telling you they have Mr. Pibb when you ask for Dr Pepper.

By the way, if y'all haven't watched it, you need to watch Anthony Bourdain eating at Waffle House in "Parts Unknown". It's really cool. That guy had every chance to crap on southerners, and he went headfirst into how much he loved the food and why it has such a massive following.
