I posted some Disney+ news in the Disney movie thread and I got to thinking how we don't have a dedicated to thread for *just* TV in general. So this might be a good catch-all for random TV news, info on all the new streaming platforms, etc, and then of course trailers, premiere dates, etc. I know there's a lot that slips through the cracks if it doesn't have a series-dedicated thread, so maybe this can cover all that kind of stuff as well. That said, I'm not going to be a diligent as updating this thread as the movie thread, so feel free to post anything and everything TV related that you might come across...

Scared of what? Studios have been courting them for months, since well before GoT ended. They've never had an exclusive deal anywhere. This was the exact right time for them to cash in, so to speak. Every suitor knew they had the Star Wars commitment to honor as well, so they'll honor that while producing shows/movies for Netflix. Then, when Star Wars is done, anything they write/direct from then on out will go to Netflix. This is what you do after you make a mega hit show.
