Good question...I only went to watch burn with my dad in the odd years when we played the sips from 91-97.

Cokeman might be able to tell you. He's at least 80, so he's seen his fair share of burn nights.

That was my freshman year and first Bonfire. Rebuild, '94. It wasn't the biggest or baddest, but it was the best.

"And on the eighth day, we burned the sonofab***h!"

Ah yes.... '94... The Double Shot.

A week early... They said it couldn't be done. So we did it... TWICE!

I missed nearly every class and got, pretty much, zero sleep for a week. So, no I have no idea who spoke outside of the head YL.

I never even knew there was a speaker except when I watched it on t.v. as a kid.

1994 Bonfire was like the 1994 football season. A lot of fun, but a sad reminder of what should have been.

That rebuild was AMAZING!! Lucky enough to be a chief that year and will never forget the dedication of students to get that mofo rebuilt!
