Sick of these protests. No sympathy for the protestors or their perverted cause.

Don't mess with Texas! Troopers in helmets arrest Palestine protesters in latest college demo while NYC waits for Columbia University crowd to clear out
  • Police arrested four protesters after warning them they could face criminal charges if they did not disperse
  • The rally at the Austin campus was organized by the university's Palestine Solidarity Committee (PSJ) chapter
  • It comes as standoffs with cops kicked off at universities across the country on another day of mayhem in US

This supporting terrorism thing is getting really old.

And what's funny is they think they're victims getting arrested.

Too bad they can't get their asses whooped.

Kick them out of the SEC.

Forgive me for posting an old link.
They protested at A&M yesterday. It was quiet and peaceful. You can check The EAgle for details.

And they were instructed to put a mask on when talking with the media or getting their picture taken. There was a tiny crowd and it was nothing like these videos. It was Alvard's student group - Democratic Socialists. I'm sure he was somewhere around. Maybe they should take a field trip to Austin.
Speaking of that, you know cheesescake girl is protesting somewhere.

Will be interested to know what charges are being filed.
You know the organizers are going to plead rights.
Would like to see a few deported for violating their VISA.

They were talking about this on Newsmax. A correspondent on there said this isn't happening at Texas A&M.

It will be though. With all the outside money pouring into these "protests" it will happen.

A&M regents need to be taking steps RIGHT NOW to make sure this doesn't happen. And when they fail to do that there needs to be a major student backlash against anti-Israel/anti-American protests at our university.
(I have not read this whole thread, so apologies if applicable)

Rumor had it our new President had some woke in him back in the AF, for the DEI bs (I hope it was only surface-level support for political reasons), but I guess we'll see how he steps up to the plate if/when this happens here.

I for one really like him and am pulling for him to squelch the flame when it's tiny.
Pretty sure most of you don’t know me.

It's UT...I'm wondering what took them so long.

I figured they would have been doing this a week or so ago.
It probably took a while for the rent-a-mobs to get there. They tried to charter some busses, but it seems there is a bus shortage in Texas for some reason.
Rent-a-mob or not, their ****ty indoctrinated student NPCs follow along like the mindless drones they are.
Don't blow a gasket, man. It was just a joke.

But yes, they have ****ty indoctrinated student drones joining in on this stupidity along with the paid actors. I expect no less from that clown town.

I agree that it is good to have an active governor but it is
doubtful he would have acted against a peaceful protest.
Officials at tu called for help because the pro-HAMAS
protestors were threatening violence.

I'm just in awe of how completely the mainline politicians on both sides of the aisle have decided to go with the line that anti-Israel or anti-Zionist sentiment, even when expressed by Jewish individuals, is per se vile anti-semitism and nothing more or less. To hear them tell it, this is basically just kristallnacht going on on campus.

Meanwhile the conservatives who have been hand-wringing and pearl-clutching for years about "free speech on campus" are hooting and hollering their approval.

Not a fan of the immediate police response while protestors are organizing. Certainly have the police around and available, but telling protestors they aren't allowed to exercise their first amendment right at a public university because they belong to a "hate-filled" organization is the same **** the left pulls to silence conservatives making legitimate point on race/gender/trans/etc issues. Once the protestors start making nazi chants or threatening Jewish students, absolutely kick them out.

Its not the same as telling them they can't protest. They did not follow university requirements for free speech. Those requirements exist for a reason. If they follow them and are then thwarted, different story. But what they are doing is not a lawful assembly and my bet is UT asked Abbott for state police presence because they feared for everyone's safety

Just say if any students gather to intimidate and threaten Jewish students they will be immediately removed from the university and their records will show their actions.

What exactly were they supposed to do to make it a "lawful assembly"? As best I can tell, the protests were set up and the university said "no" because it is "hateful". While I fully expect the protests to turn into a giant antisemitic ****show, I don't think a pro-Palestine protest is inherently antisemitic or hateful. I guess this was BS

In my opinion, these protests are occurring to generate attention in the news cycle in an effort to cover up something else. What else happened that people on the left don't want the public to be talking about?
