Interested in the P229 but curious of the first 2 letters of the serial number. I've carried one on duty for the past 17 years. Retiring soon and they won't let me buy mine. First on had 40,000+ rounds thru it and still worked like a charm. Would love to find something with a SN in the range of the first or second one I carried.

I've got a P229 two-tone .40 DAK for sell if you're interested... AM for the first two of serial number too; former duty pistol as well.

Not particularly. I'm not big into hunting or long range stuff right now. Mostly 3 gun and other fast paced shooting sports - that's what the STI has been used for, but I have been concentrating on a lot of PCC as of late.

I have a Uberti 1873 Single-Action Cattleman Revolver in .45 Long Colt

Bought it on a whim, haven't shot it. Original owner has less than a box of ammo through it, which I have.

My Cowboy Action Shooting guns are all .38/.357, so this doesn't fit for me.

It's neat, it looks nice, but I need to move it for something more functional.
