For Christmas I got my first bolt-action rifle - Tikka T3x Hunter in 6.5cm with Trijicon Credo HX 2.5-15x42

I've come full circle. First few pistols I bought were hammer fired metal frames like a 1911 and P938. Then I went on a run of striker fired polymer pistols (HKVP9, Springfield hellcat). I decided it was time to get back to the basics. Scooped up a M9A4 at Champion this past week. Looking forward to getting out to the range this weekend!

I finally got an 1895 after looking for many moons and not being willing to pay at or over MSRP. Picked it up from my FFL today.
And rewind a few weeks to when I watched a beautiful email appear in my inbox from the CMP, then this second gun, a service grade, was in my hands just two days later.

Very very nice, your tigger is a triggertech as I see there emblem on the safety. You can see the trigger group either through the housing cut or when bolt is up. Red group is the black diamond line and a top notch trigger, black can be either a primary or special model both are still great!

Well thank you for the information! Guess that's what the patch is from that was in the case.

Winner winner, that's also your Allen for adjusting the trigger of you want to make it lighter or heavier! They are great triggers and the only ones I use now!

I can't imagine making it lighter than it is already. They said they put it in the middle. No clue what the pull is, but it's light. I'll go shoot it tomorrow and see how it does. Greatly appreciate the info, thank you!

Awesome! Let us know how much quieter it is, it looks like a much more compact setup for on foot hunting than a long barrel with a long can

Barrel is 22" OAL. 14" of rifled barrel and 8" of baffling. That is what they say is the sweet spot they've found for accuracy and suppression. We shall see tomorrow.

My MIL won a Seekins Precision Havak Pro Hunter PH2 in 300 PRC at DU last night. I told her I'm buying the first box of ammo if I get to see her shoot it.

Just picked up a Franchi Momentum All-Terrain Elite in .308. Had to wait 8 months for it to come in. Thinking of adding the Vortex Razor HD GenIII 1-10x24 on it. Stock pic because mine aren't good

Nice. Probably a tack driver too. I keep thinking I "need" a .308.

Will do, I have been wanting one since PSA first announced them but was hesitant since I hadn't seen on in person. Ran across this one sitting on consignment at local gun store liked the way it felt in the hands to went ahead and picked it up. If it runs as solid as it feels I will form-1 it and put a real folding stock on it instead of the brace.
