Nothing really wrong with 40, most moved to 9mm because they are a bit more accurate with them and new rounds have similar stopping power. And often 9 mm holds more rounds in mag. But I would not get rid of a perfectly good 40.

Exactly but I have like 5K plus .40 rounds. Haven't shot one a single time since making the 9 switch 4-5 years ago.

Nothing wrong with .40 S&W, just more people prefer 9mm. Easier to shoot, plenty of stores keep 9mm in stock. .40 is taking a back seat.

It's all so ****ing stupid. I have mostly 9 mm. I remember when people would **** all over 9 mm in favor of something else, and it wasn't even that long ago. Now 9 mm is apparently hot again and people are crapping on 40s. It's ridiculous.

Yep, 10 or 12 years ago when ammo was in such short supply 40S&W was the only thing you could find on the shelfs.
