Bump. I notice that cooking oil is accepted, which is great! Fats, oils and grease (aka "FOG") should never be put down the drain but it happens often, and leads to sewer clogs and backups. So collect your oil in containers and bring it to HHW! Grease, if it's solidified, can go in the trash. Proper disposal of HHW protects sanitation workers, protects the landfill, and protects our waterways.

You can contact the college station police and make a request with the bomb squad. It gives them something to blow up.

Doubt it. But people contact them to destroy old ammunition and they destroy any fireworks collected by patrol officers around the 4th and new years.

Freon is made of stuff found on the periodic table. You just want to return it to nature and hope it breaks down into a simpler form, correct?
